Balamurugan Temple

Famous Balamurugan Temple is located near Kodai Vel Farms in Thandikudi. The Balamurugan Temple is 2000 years old and now it was renovated and maintained by the villagers. A deep foot print considered as that of Lord Muruga is seen on a stone nearby the temple as if pressed on sand. Another rock nearby, looks as if a peacock is holding a snake in its mouth. These are still visible even today. A spring is ever flowing even during hot summer, revered as the sacred spring of the temple.

Maruthanathi Dam View Point

Maruthanathi Dam is a small dam built on the river Cauvery at Thandikudi near Kodai. The dam was constructed by the British during the reign of King George V in 1913. The dam has been renovated recently and now provides drinking water for the people living nearby. The dam is surrounded with lush green forest. There are several tourist spots nearby. One such spot is the Velliangiriyar Dam. This dam is also known as the ‘Kodaikanal Lake’. The dam is surrounded with greenery. The dam is located at a distance of 12 kilometers from our resort Kodai Vel farms.

The Thandikudi Regional Coffee Research Station is located at Thandikudi village near Kodaikanal in the state of Tamil Nadu. It has been established for over 50 years to study the production and processing of coffee beans. The research station has been established at an altitude of 1,500meters above sea level.
